WXYZ DETROIT — On Sunday, April 5th, four influential Michigan leaders will discuss how they and their respective organizations are navigating through COVID-19 and the U.S. Census Count in the Great Lakes State. Spotlight guests will include Larry Alexander, Chairman of the TCF Center Authority & President & CEO of the Detroit Metro Convention & Visitors Bureau; Mariam Noland, President of the Community Foundation for Southeast Michigan; Dr. James Smith, President of Eastern Michigan University and Kerry Ebersole Singh, Director of the Michigan 2020 Census.
Due to a special Palm Sunday Mass from New York's St. Patrick's Cathedral, Spotlight on the News will air this week and Easter Sunday in the metro Detroit area at 12 noon on WXYZ-TV/Channel 7.
Spotlight on the News, now in its 55th season, is Michigan's longest-running weekly news and public affairs television program. It also airs every Sunday at 2:30 p.m. on 23.1 WKAR-HD in East Lansing and 6 p.m. on 23.2 WKAR World.
