WXYZ DETROIT — On Sunday, April 28, Spotlight on the News will feature the life, times and historic impact of famous Detroit architect Albert Kahn. Last month marked the 150th anniversary of Kahn's birth. Participating in the panel discussion will be Carol Kahn, Albert Kahn's granddaughter; Michael Hodges, The Detroit News fine arts writer and author of a new Kahn book; Alan Cobb, President & CEO of Albert Kahn & Associates and Claire Zimmerman, Ph.D., architecture & design professor at the University of Michigan.

Spotlight on the News, now in its 54th season, is Michigan's longest-running weekly news and public affairs television program. It airs every Sunday at 10:00 a.m. on WXYZ-TV/Channel 7 in Detroit and 2:30 p.m. on 23.1 WKAR-HD in East Lansing and 6 p.m. on 23.2 WKAR World.
