MACOMB COUNTY, Mich. (WXYZ) — A pair of auto thieves were caught on video this week stealing high-powered Dodge Chargers right in front of the owner's homes in Macomb County.

The owners of those stolen Dodge Chargers have been taking to Facebook, and now videos of the thefts have gone viral. The aim is to put a stop to the rash of crimes.

The thieves can be seen creeping up to a gray Dodge Charger in Roseville. They quickly smash out a window, put the shifter into neutral then use another car to push it away.

One owner named Tarek told Action News it wasn't only the car he was angry about losing -- there were also valuables inside.

A second video shows what looks like the same guys pulling off yet another bold heist in Eastpointe. After, using the same window-shaming technique, the thieves throw the vehicle in neutral and this time an accomplice simply pushes it away from the home.

Police are now searching for whoever is behind the Dodger Charger heists, but so far no arrests have been made and no Chargers recovered.

Owners are being reminded to keep car doors locked and not to leave valuables inside. If you can help with these cases, call police right away.
