More snow is on the way to Metro Detroit for Sunday afternoon and evening. Overall, we’re not expecting a lot of snow but it will accumulate quickly, which could make the roads rough while it’s coming down. Here’s a breakdown of what to expect.
Sunday's Snow Forecast
A quick 2 to 4 inches of snow is expected across most of Metro Detroit with a few spots making a run at 5”. The higher totals will be dependent on snow banding - how heavy they'll be and where they set up.
South of I-94, there's a chance some of the snow could mix with rain towards the end of the day. This will cut into the snow totals for southern Washtenaw, Wayne Lenawee and Monroe counties.
