School officials learned Tuesday morning that a local man made "multiple threats on social media, and one of those threat was against the high school."

Taylor police officers are on-site at the school to ensure safety from the possible threat in the surrounding area.

Officers are actively looking for the suspect and the school will remain in "heightened secure mode" until the situation has been resolved, according to Superintendent Williams.
