Suspect enters Romulus 7 Eleven with gun drawn, robs place

ROMULUS, Mich. (WXYZ) — Police are looking for three suspects involved in an armed robbery at a Romulus 7 Eleven convenience store.

According to Romulus police, the robbery happened on April 16 at 11:55 p.m.

Two suspects entered the store just before midnight. One of the suspects aimed the handgun directly at the clerk upon entering, while the second suspect went behind the counter and began taking money from the register, police say. Then the suspect with the handgun began assisting the suspect behind the counter.

A third suspect stood guard at the entrance of the store as a lookout.

All three suspects fled on foot heading east, then proceeded north toward West Village Estates.

Suspect one is described as a black male, medium complexion. He was described as 6-feet tall, thin build and was wearing a black ski mask, black hoodie, black jogging pants with blue undergarment and black shoes. The suspect was carrying a black and orange backpack with a yellow front zipper and was armed with a black framed, nickel slide semi-automatic handgun.

Suspect two is described as a black male, medium in complexion. He was described as 5 feet, 8 inches tall and thin build. He was wearing a black ski mask, hooded puffer jacket, black pants, black shoes and carrying a black tote bag with the image of a cat on the front.

The third suspect is described as a black man with medium complexion. He is approximately 6 feet in height, and was wearing a black mask covering the bottom half of his face. The suspect was also wearing a black jacket, black pants and black shoes.
