A suspect is under arrest after being accused of stealing a DDOT transit police vehicle.
According to a city official, the suspect jumped into and attempted to drive off in the vehicle when the officer was a few steps away investigating a disabled DDOT bus on the QLINE track.
The suspect only made it about 100 feet before crashing into a fence outside of Little Caesars Arena.
