Suspect uses threatening note to rob Rochester bank

Rochester police are searching for a suspect involved in a bank robbery that took place Monday afternoon in Rochester. 

At 2:20 p.m., police responded to Alliance Catholic Credit Union, 912 N. Main. Credit union employees told police that they had been robbed by a suspect who presented a note implying that he had a weapon, although no weapon was seen. 

The suspect is described as a white man in his late 20s or early 30s, standing 6-foot to 6-foot, 3-inches tall. He's medium built and was wearing a red baseball hat with a black brim with white lettering. He was also wearing a white undershirt with a gray zip-up hoodie, jeans and black shoes. 

According to a release, officers and K-9 searched the area but were unable to locate the suspect. FBI and Crime Lab Techs from the Oakland County Sheriff's office also responded to the scene. 

Police say an undisclosed amount of money was taken from the bank.
