DETROIT (WXYZ) — Detroit Police are searching for a suspect they say shot at a man sitting in his vehicle on the 12000 block of West Parkway overnight.
Officers say the 35-year-old male victim was sitting in his driveway in his vehicle, when the unidentified suspect walked up from behind and began firing shots at the vehicle around 2:00 a.m.
The victim was hit in the leg. He was treated at the scene and refused to go to the hospital, police say.
The suspect ran off eastbound on Glendale, police say. He has been described as an armed black man wearing all black driving a newer model Chevy Malibu.
The investigation is ongoing.
