Suspect wanted in connection to double shooting on Detroit's east side

Detroit Police need help finding a suspect and vehicle connected to a double shooting that happened on the city's east side.

Police say on Nov. 11 around 3:40 p.m., two 18-year-old young men were walking on the 1800 block of East Outer Drive, when the suspect walked past them, turned around and fired shots at them. 

One of the victims was fatally wounded, while the other was treated for non-life threatening injuries, police say. 

The suspect is described as a black man about 6-foot tall, 180 pounds, wearing a black hooded sweatshirt with the Nike logo on the back. He was also wearing a white shirt under the sweatshirt, black jogging pants and black shoes. 

The vehicle the suspect entered after the incident is a gray or silver Dodge Charger with black stripes on the side, according to police.
