A motorcycle driver crashed into a ditch in Sanilac County early Friday, according to a Facebook post from the Sanilac County Sheriff's Office.
Around 12:25 a.m., Sanilac Central Dispatch received a 911 call reporting a motorcycle crash on Burns Line Road near Bailey Road in Maple Valley Township.
Police say a 23-year-old Croswell man was traveling eastbound on Burns Line Road when he lost control of his 1982 Yamaha motorcycle and entered the ditch.
A passerby called 911 after finding the motorcycle and man laying in the ditch.
The man was arrested after treatment at the hospital and is lodged at the Sanilac County Jail. Police say he was wearing a helmet and alcohol was a factor in the crash.
