Nearly two dozen of the best taquerias in metro Detroit will gather this weekend at Detroit's Eastern Market for Taco Showdown.
It's happening Sunday, July 29 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. at Shed 5. More than 15 taquerias will be on hand for the Taco Showdown, and fans can taste tacos from across the area.
Tickets are $ but for National Tequila Day on Tuesday, July 24, they are 20 percent off with the code TACOTUESDAY. The ticket gets you your first taco and a margarita. Each restaurant will also be selling other tacos to buy.
There will be a full bar, beer, pop and water available for purchase, a DJ, Mexican wrestling and more.
