(WXYZ) — The well-known 5K Obstacle Course run, The Warrior Dash, is coming to Michigan once again this weekend. It's making an annual stop at the E.A. Cummings Center in Mt. Morris on Saturday, July 27.
Spots are still available in the 1-mile run, the 5K and the 10K, but the race is 91 percent full as of Thursday at 12:30 p.m.
The run features more than a dozen obstacles, including climbing walls, going through mud, under barbed wire, jumping over fire and much more.
It includes a festival, which opens at 7 a.m. before competitive waves go off at 8 a.m. with the final wave starting at 3 p.m.
If you're heading to the race, you should bring your photo ID, a signed waiver, credit or debit card, a recommended change of clothes, and more.
Outside food or beverage is not allowed, and they also suggest leaving valuables at home.
Parking is at the E.A. Cummings Center and people are asked to enter the parking lot via east Mt. Morris Rd. and follow the Warrior Dash staff instructions.
