(WXYZ) — Thursday and Friday nights will be some of the final nights to see Comet Neowise on its journey around the solar system. The next time it will be visible around Earth will be in nearly 6,800 years.

The best viewing for Comet Neowise on Thursday and Friday night will be to look toward the northwest sky between 10 p.m. and 2:30 a.m.
Thursday night will have partly cloudy skies and temps around 70 degrees, which means it should be a good night to view the comet.
You can also see Jupiter in the south/southeast sky as it rises at 8:22 p.m., and Venus rises at 3 a.m. in the east/southeast sky.
