(WXYZ) — Harbor Freight Tools is recalling 1.1 million Gordon Folding Knives over a laceration hazard.

According to the Consumer Product Safety Commission, the locking mechanism can fail to engage on extension of the blade, which poses the laceration hazard.

The knife is stainless steel with black metal on the handle and five cutouts. It's about 3 inches long and has a metal belt clip.

Customers should immediately stop using the recalled knives and return them to harbor Freight for a full refund in the form of a $5 gift card plus tax.

Harbor Freight has received seven reports of the knife failing to lock which resulted in six reports of lacerations, four of which required medical attention.
