The St. Clair Shores Police Department is investigating after an armed robbery was reported at a 7-Eleven in the city overnight.

According to police, this is the third 7-Eleven that has been robbed in the past week and they believe it's the same suspect.

Right now, police haven't been able to access surveillance footage on the latest incident.

Luckily, no one was injured and police are not sure what the suspect got away with.

The other two robberies happened on May 12.

At 1:55 a.m., an employee at the location on Little Mack Avenue contacted police and reported a robbery. The employee said the suspect presented a handgun and demanded the money from the till. He then reached behind the counter and took an undisclosed amount of money.

At 11:49 p.m., an employee at the location on Harper Avenue also reported a robbery. The suspect had a gun and demanded money, and the employee cooperated and gave him an undisclosed amount.

The suspect is described in both robberies as a black man, aged 40-50 years old, heavy set, wearing a dark colored hooded sweatshirt, leather jacket and white tennis shoes.

He is wanted in connection with both robberies. Anyone with information is asked to call the St. Clair Shores Police Department at 586-445-5305.
