DETROIT (WXYZ) — The Detroit Tigers are having a special sale for all June home games this weekend only, and the tickets are really cheap.
The 72-hour sale will offer home game tickets for as low as $9 with no fees on Friday - Sunday.
There are 15 Detroit Tigers home games in June. The schedule is:
- June 4-6 - Tampa Bay Rays
- June 7-9 - Minnesota Twins
- June 14-16 - Cleveland Indians
- June 25-27 - Texas Rangers
-June 28-30 - Washington Nationals
The $9 tickets are for standing room only and for Skyline, but upper grandstand tickets are just $16 with no fees, and outfield box ticket sin the lower bowl are $50 with no fees.
According to a Tigers spokesperson, over the first 12 hours fans purchased nearly 10,000 tickets, selling out the allotted tickets in multiple seating areas.
