CASCADE TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WXYZ) — Popular liquor, wine and beer retailer Total Wine is planning to open its first Michigan store, MiBiz is reporting.
According to MiBiz, an affiliate of Total Wine leased the nearly 35,000-square-foot site in Cascade Township. That's southeast of Grand Rapids near the Gerald R. Ford International Airport.
A Freedom of Information Act request filed by MiBiz found that the company will open the Total Wine at the site and is leasing it from Grand Rapids company Edmark Development Co.
The company has 205 stores in 24 states, and was started by David and Robert Trone in Delaware in 1991. They offer thousands of wines, spirits and beers.
