Two killed in wrong-way crash on US-23 identified as Ohio women

Michigan State Police have identified the two women killed in a wrong-way crash on US-23 in Northfield Township on Sunday afternoon.

According to Michigan police, 51-year-old Debbie Pinson, of Broadview Heights, Ohio, and 56-year-old Cathy Kretzschmer, of Olmsted Township, Ohio, were killed in the crash. They are the girlfriend and sister of Daniel C. Edit, who was driving one of the vehicles.

Michigan State Police say the crash occurred when 74-year-old Edwin Brown was driving the wrong way down US-23 when he crashed into the Ford Fusion driven by Eidt.

Brown is in serious but stable condition and Eidt is in stable condition.
