Casting for Detroit's showing of Disney's Aladdin musical has been announced, according to Broadway in Detroit. 

The production will feature two Michigan natives: Korie Lee Blossey, of Bay City, will be the standby Genie/Sultan; and Erik Hernandez, of Royal Oak, will be part of the ensemble.

The hit musical will begin on Dec. 12, 2018 through Jan. 13, 2019 at the Detroit Opera House located on 1526 Broadway. 

Tuesday through Saturday evening performances start at 7:30 p.m.
