Pascavis also discusses how many local facilities will receive the COVID vaccine and how soon they could arrive.
Dec. 28 is the first day clinics launched in metro Detroit and Michigan, Pascavis said, adding that CVS health will be in approximately 990 sites across the state with a plan to vaccine 135,000 employees and residents.
The vaccination process begins with an initial dose onsite to vaccinate employees and residents who have completed consent forms and are currently eligible for the vaccine.
CVS Health will return roughly three to four weeks later to administer the second booster vaccine dose.
