Vehicle rolls into building after suspect pulls up and fatally shoots driver in Detroit

DETROIT (WXYZ) — Detroit police are investigating these shootings that happened Friday:

Fatal shooting at corner of Robson and Fenkell

On Jan. 24 around 8:30 p.m., a 31-year-old male victim was stopped at a stop sign at the corner of Robson and Fenkell when a white vehicle pulled alongside of him. Police say the person inside allegedly fired shots, striking the victim.

After the shooting, the victim’s black Dodge Durango coasted across the street and hit a building, according to police.

Medics responded to the scene and pronounced the victim dead.

The suspect is unknown at this time. The investigation is ongoing.

Non-fatal shooting in area of Promenade and Rosemary

On Jan. 24 in the area of Promenade and Rosemary, a 24-year-old male victim sustained a gunshot wound to the body.

The victim was privately taken to the hospital and listed in serious condition. Right now, there is no information about the suspect.

Police say the circumstances surrounding this incident are still being investigated.
