(WXYZ) — Verizon Wireless says the company's engineers have fixed a problem that caused intermittent outages in the metro Detroit area.

DownDetector's map showed the outage in southern lower Michigan, as well as in areas like Indianapolis, Pittsburgh, New York and more.

However, the company now says the problems has been fixed. They advise any customers still having problems to restart their phones.

The outages had been ongoing for two days. The outages seemed to only involve phone calls.
