(WXYZ) — The app TikTok is giving parents more control.
The video platform has rolled out a new parental control feature called "Family safety mode."
It lets parents manage their kid's activity and the amount of time they spend on the platform. The feature allows parents to turn off direct message, restrict certain content and set time limits.
Right now, the feature is only available in some European countries.
No word yet on whether TikTok plans to give users in the U.S. access anytime soon.
