The Michigan Department of Natural Resources has teamed up with Carbon Media Group to launch a live eagle cam.
The CarbonTV Eagle Cam brings viewers 24/7 live streaming of a pair of bald eagles in their natural habitat. The eagles have built their nest 100 feet above the ground near the Platte River State Fish Hatchery in Beulah.
The mother eagle recently laid an egg --and now anticipation is building for the big hatch.
If you catch the live stream when the eagles are out gathering food, you can pass the time by watching some of the recorded memorable moments-- like when a pair of owls crashed the nest or when the eagles feasted on rabbit for dinner.
Check out the clips here, and watch the live stream below. Viewing the stream through Google Chrome is suggested.
