(WXYZ) — Peregrine Falcons have made a home in the iconic Detroit Zoo water tower, and now, they are nesting there.

According to the zoo, the male peregrine is named Justice, hatched in 2012 at the Jackson County Tower Building. He originally paired with an unbanded female and hatched eight chicks.

Last year, the zoo said Justice took up with a female, KJ, who was hatched in 2016 in Wisconsin. According to the zoo, the new pair hasn't hatched any chicks yet, but there is an egg in the nest.

The DNR helped the zoo with the nest box design in the water tower.
