(WXYZ) — Wyandotte police and fire worked to rescue a dog on Monday evening from the Detroit River.
Police tell us the dog was newly adopted when she got away from its owner and somehow got in the river.
The dog was on a piece of ice floating. The dog was rescued and is OK.
