DETROIT (WXYZ) — A video posted on social media Sunday night of a red Camaro doing stunts and onlookers blocking westbound I-94 to film is making its rounds.
"This is not acceptable," said Detroit Police Chief James Craig.
"We are going to find you and when we do, we're going to arrest you and we're going to seize your vehicle," Craig said.
He said it is a danger to public safety. A suspect who was at the location Sunday night is in custody, but he was not actively involved in the donuts incident.
Just this past summer, the phrase “We on the Lodge with it” went viral after a woman was heard shouting it repeatedly in a viral video of Camaros blocking M-10 and doing donuts.
Now, they’re heard in the video yelling, “We on I-94 with it.”
Last summer’s shenanigans resulted in one person arrested and six cars identified.
