WXYZ DETROIT — Congratulations to Zoe Jackson of Western Michigan University, our 2019 Michigan Association of Broadcasters Foundation (MABF) scholarship winner sponsored by WXYZ-TV & the Scripps Howard Foundation. Zoe is a talented junior at WMU with lots of journalism experience. She has reported for the WMUK radio campus radio station, the Western Herald newspaper and the Flint Journal as a student intern. Zoe, a native of Detroit, is also a member of the WMU Dean’s List and has earned several prestigious honors.
Her scholarship announcement was recently made at the MAB’s annual Great Lakes Media Show held at the Lansing Convention Center. We wish Zoe continued luck with her academic classes and her future journalism goals.
