Police say a man is in custody after a 37-year-old woman was found dead with a gunshot wound in a Madison Heights neighborhood.
On Thursday morning, police received a 911 call from a man who said he got into an argument with the victim and shot her.
Upon arrival at the residence, located at 29328 Tawas, police say the woman had trauma consistent with a gunshot wound to her head.
The 44-year-old man, identified as her husband, was arrested on the scene.
