(WXYZ) — Pittsfield Charter Township police say they are investigating after a 50-year-old woman from Plymouth was found dead inside a vehicle in the parking lot outside Thrive Training Facility.
Police say they responded to a suspected shooting around 9:10 a.m. before making the discovery. The vehicle, police say, had multiple bullet holes.
A trainer with Thrive told 7 Action News the woman was one of their gym's personal training clients. Police say she is Andrea Grant.
Right now, the case is being investigated as a homicide, police say.
Police are looking for 59-year-old Michael Anthony Elinski in connection to the incident. He's about 6-foot-2 and 245 pounds. Police are considering him armed and dangerous.
They say they have information that indicated this was not random and there is no threat or danger to the public.
