DETROIT (WXYZ) — A 69-year-old woman was hit and killed by a Detroit Department of Transportation bus Saturday evening, according to police.
The deadly crash happened in the area of West Outer Drive and Asbury Park at 8:40 p.m. The DDOT bus driver was heading westbound on West Outer Drive when he hit the woman, who was in the middle of the street, according to a preliminary investigation.
