A woman is in stable condition after she was shot several times on Detroit's east side.
Police say the 37-year-old woman was found lying on the ground in the area of Evanston and Harrell early Thursday.
She suffered nine gunshot wounds overall: five to the right thigh, two to the right buttock, one in the pelvic area and one on the left thigh.
Police say there are possibly two suspects involved who were driving an older Chevy SUV and escaped eastbound on Evanston from Harrell.
