A 38-year-old woman is recovering from three gunshot wounds after she was shot while talking on the phone in her home on Detroit's west side.
It happened just before 11 p.m. Monday night on Wisconsin near 7 Mile Road.
Detroit Police are still searching for a motive and suspects in the case that has rattled a relatively quiet neighborhood.
"Very nice lady," said Kristina Richardson about the victim who lives next door.
Richardson said she had been talking to the woman on her porch just hours before the shooting.
The victim's son said she's expected to recover.
