Waterford Township police are investigating after a woman was shot and killed near Telegraph Road and M-59.
One Waterford Township woman said it began around 8:45 p.m. on Sunday night. The woman, who wanted to remain anonymous, said she looked out the window and saw someone laying flat on the ground and also saw a man wearing a light gray shirt.
Police say officers investigated and the investigation led to a home in Pontiac were a suspect was taken into custody.
She then saw the men jumping into a silver van that pulled up shortly after. A woman was left lying in the street bleeding and not moving.
According to police, the 24-year-old woman is not from the area and police say it doesn't appear to be a random act.
