Detroit is about to make restaurant history.
The world's first combination IHOP and Applebee's hybrid will open in downtown Detroit Tuesday.
The 12,000-square-foot restaurant is located inside the Millender Center at Jefferson and Brush Street, across from the GM Renaissance Center.
While the IHOP portion opened late last month, the Applebee's half will open its doors Tuesday just in time for lunch.
The restaurant will also include a coffee bar.
