WYANDOTTE, Mich. — For folks who couldn’t think of anything better than BBQ, beer, bands, whiskey and the waterfront, head down to Wyandotte this weekend for the free Swiggin’ Pig festival.
WXYZ Chief Meteorologist Dave Rexroth got the memo. He’ll be doing live weather reports Friday from the family-friendly event for 7 Action News at 5 and 6.
The event takes place in downtown Wyandotte, along the riverfront Friday and Saturday. Pit Masters will be serving up their finest BBQ, while you get to crown the best Bourbon-based BBQ sauce made with Bulleit Bourbon.
You can sample barrel-aged whiskey and bourbons, sip cold beer and eat your heart out, all while listening to live bands. Plus, there will be activities for the kids.
