Despite the warm temperatures, an iconic spot in Rochester Hills is gearing up for fall.
Beginning Friday, Yates Cider Mill in Rochester Hills will be starting its first press to make the first batch of apple cider this season.
The mill has thousands of pounds of apples ready to go. They've been making cider year after year since 1876 and is one of the oldest continually running businesses in the state.
Cider pressing starts at 10 a.m. Friday and the cider made with those pressed apples will go on sale Saturday.
They open at 9 a.m. For more information, click here.
