#3 Get Out of Debt
Tackling debt comes in 3rd. Turning a mountain of debt into a molehill takes time. But cutting that big job into smaller pieces can help you stay on track. So reducing your debt by 25 percent this year may be more realistic than wiping it out completely.
#2 Save More / Spend Less
And if you want to get out of debt you have to spend less and save more. That’s the 2nd most popular resolution on our online poll. While you can cut the waste out of your monthly budget, set aside money for emergencies and to have a social life. If you’re budget is too strict, you're less likely to stick with it in the long run.
#1 Lose Weight
Topping the list is losing weight! Some people make this resolution every year. The best advice here is to stick with whichever diet plan you choose, even if you break the diet again and again. Don’t get discouraged. It takes time to make new habits stick.
No matter whether you want to make large changes or a small one –the new year is a new opportunity for a new you!
