WXYZ — Multiple storm systems will impact our weather this week. The first big change will arrive as a cold front sweeps through Michigan Tuesday night.
Single-digit wind chills are expected Wednesday morning. We could have 30+mph wind gusts through the day with high temps in the 20s.
Then a warm front arrives Thursday. We could see rain develop by the afternoon and continue through Friday. Temperatures Friday may climb into the low 50s.
Multiple disturbances in the atmosphere could swing in from the southwest Saturday and Sunday; bringing the chance of rain and snow. There is still a lot of uncertainty in this weekend's forecast, but right now it looks like we may begin with rain Saturday morning before changing over to snow Saturday afternoon. Several inches of accumulating snow are possible Saturday night and through the day Sunday, but if this storm shifts east, we may not see much at all.
This is a forecast that will be evolving through the week. We'll keep you updated.
