DETROIT (WXYZ) -- The Detroit Tigers announced Friday they did not offer contracts to catcher James McCann and pitcher Alex Wilson, making both free agents.
The move puts Detroit's 40-man roster at 37.
The team also announced it plans to offer 2019 contracts to its remaining arbitration-eligible players, including Matthew Boyd, Nicholas Castellanos, Michael Fulmer, Shane Greene, Blaine Hardy and Daniel Norris.
