DETROIT (WXYZ) -- The Tigers announced Wednesday that the team will not offer contracts to relief pitchers Al Alburquerque and Neftali Feliz for 2016.

Both players, who would have been eligible for salary arbitration after Wednesday's deadline, now become free agents and may sign with another MLB team.

Alburquerque appeared in 67 games for Detroit in 2015, pitching a total of 62 innings with a 4-1 record, a 4.21 ERA and 58 strikeouts.

Feliz, who came to Detroit from the Texas Rangers during the 2015 season, made a total of 30 appearances for the Tigers, compiling a 2-2 record with a 7.62 ERA and 23 strikeouts.
