Ben Wallace, Brendan Shanahan, and Chris Osgood are the biggest names on the list for 2016.

Oakland University swimming and diving coach Pete Hovland will join the class. He led the Golden Grizzlies men's team to its 38th straight conference championship over the weekend, and the women to their 23rd consecutive title.

Baseball Hall of Fame writer Tom Gage, formerly of the Detroit News will be inducted, as will former University of Detroit and Pistons forward John Long, and legendary Flint Powers High School coach Kathy McGee.
