DETROIT — Bad news is rolling in for the Pistons before the season even begins.
Blake Griffin didn't make the trip with the team to Indiana for the season opener. He will be re-evaluated to return the first week of November.
Griffin is "continuing a treatment and conditioning regimen for left hamstring and posterior knee soreness," the team said.
First round pick Sekou Doumbouya is in concussion protocol and did not travel to Indiana.
