Michigan State to face Oregon in Redbox Bowl on December 31

(WXYZ) -- Michigan State will face Oregon in the Redbox Bowl on December 31 in Santa Clara, California.

 

 

This is Michigan State's 11th bowl appearance under Mark Dantonio, and the Spartans' first appearance in the Redbox Bowl.

Michigan State (7-5, 5-4 Big Ten) and Oregon (8-4, 5-4 Pac-12) have never met in a bowl game. The Spartans beat the Ducks 31-28 in the last regular season meeting between the two in 2015.
