DETROIT (WXYZ) -- During MAC Football Media Day at Ford Field on Tuesday, Central Michigan head coach John Bonamego discussed his summer break.
"The most fun thing that we did, my wife and I went down to Daytona for the Coke Zero 400," said Bonamego. "We were on pit row, and that was just a good time."
Bonamego described watching a NASCAR race up close as a five-senses experience.
"You see it, you definitely hear it, you can feel it, you smell it, and you taste it. That was a good day for us."
Asked @CMU_Football's @CMUCoachBono about his summer vacation at #MACtion Media day. He and @MommaBono took in some NASCAR at Daytona earlier this month! pic.twitter.com/e4koCG564Z
