INDIANAPOLIS (WXYZ) -- Connor Cook answered plenty of questions at the NFL Combine, but one answer stood out more than others.
During an interview segment with NFL Network, Cook was asked which current NFL quarterback his skill set most closely resembles.
"I'd have to say Tom Brady," said Cook. "Obviously he's got great stats and throws for a lot of yards and a lot of touchdowns, but I think my game complements his because he's a winner. I go out there, I win, I try to put my team in the best situation to go out there and win each and every week, just like him."
Cook certainly did plenty of winning during his college career with Michigan State, capturing two Big Ten Championships and a Rose Bowl victory.
Cook added that he feels his ability to overcome adversity is reminiscent of Brady.
"There's been times where he's brought his team back. He makes a mistake, he puts it right behind him, you know, throws a touchdown and leads his team to victory, so in that matter, I'd say my game kind of reflects Tom Brady."
