(WXYZ) — Detroit City FC has unveiled its entire 2020 spring National Independent Soccer League (NISA) schedule, the first full professional men's league season.
Le Rouge will kick off the season on the road on Friday, Feb. 28 at the Los Angeles Force, but will open the professional home season on Saturday, March 21 against the Oakland Roots.
DCFC will continue the homestand with a game on March 28 before hitting the road once again.
The 2020 season will feature 56 regular season matches spanning 16 weeks for all of NISA, and each club will play 14 games in all – seven at home and seven away. It will end in a playoffs and finals series. The format will include two semifinals based on club finish in the spring season, and the finals will be a home and away series.
Le Rouge will host the Michigan Stars, Oakland Roots, Chattanooga FC, 194 FC, the Los Angeles Force, Cal United Strikers and Stumptown Athletic.
