Werner Blakely Jr. is Detroit's first All-American high school baseball player.
He's also awaiting the next step in his baseball future.
Blakely is committed to play at Auburn, but could also go early in Wednesday's MLB Draft.
"I think he is one of the most intriguing guys of the draft," Auburn head coach Butch Thompson said this week.
