With nearly four months until the beginning of the NFL preseason, the Detroit Lions have announced the four opponents they will face in the 2016 preseason.
In the first week, they will travel to Pittsburgh to face the Steelers for the first time since 2010, which is also the last time they opened the preseason on the road.
For week two, the Cincinnati Bengals will come to Ford Field for the 37th preseason meeting between the two teams.
The Lions will hit the road in week three taking on John Harbaugh and the Baltimore Ravens, before closing out the preseason at home against the Buffalo Bills.
The regular season schedule has yet to be announced, but the home games for 2016 will be against the Chicago Bears, Green Bay Packers, Minnesota Vikings, Jacksonville Jaguars, Los Angeles Rams, Philadelphia Eagles, Tennessee Titans and Washington Redskins.
The road games in 2016 will be at the Dallas Cowboys, Houston Texans, Chicago Bears, Indianapolis Colts, New Orleans Saints, Green Bay Packers, New York Giants and Minnesota Vikings.
